ಎ.ಎನ್.ಎಂ ರವರು ಆಶಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆಯರ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಳಗೇರಿ, ದುರ್ಬಲ ಜನಸಮಖ್ಯೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ರಚನೆಯಿರುವ (ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು, ಶಾಲೆ, ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ, ಬಸ್ ಸ್ಟಾಪ್,   ಕಡೆ) ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕೆಳಕಾಣಿಸಿದ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅ. ತಾಯಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ: ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ ನೋಂದಣಿ ಮಾಡಿಸುವುದು. ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಖರತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸವ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು. ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಗುವಿನ ಕಾರ್ಡ ತೀವ್ರ ಗಂಡಾಂತರ ಹೆರಿಗೆಯ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರನ್ನು/ ಹೆರಿಗೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳಾಗಬಹುದಾದ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವವರು/ಮತ್ತು ತುರ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಯ  ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇರುವ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರನ್ನು ಬೇರೆಡೆಗೆ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸುಹುದು. ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಗರ್ಭಪಾತಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಂದಾಯಿತ ಗರ್ಭಪಾತ ನೋಂದಣಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ರೆಫರ್/ಉಲ್ಲೇಖ ಮಾಡುವುದು. ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ಸಮಾಲೋಚಿಸುವುದು:  ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಹತೆ, ಮದುವೆಯ ವಯಸು,ಗರ್ಭಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಗರ್ಭಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಾಗಬಹುದಾದ ಗಂಡಾಂತರಗಳು, ಹೆರಿಗೆ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಸಿದ್ದತೆ, ಆಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಷಕಾಂಶಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಥಿಕ ಹೆರಿಗೆ, ಸರಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಹೆರಿಗೆ, ಜನನಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಾ ಯೋಜನೆ- ಜನನಿ ಶಿಶು ಸುರಕ್ಷಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಹರಿವ
