 |ಮಹಾ ಮೃತ್ಯುಂಜಯ ಮಂತ್ರ| ಅದು ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವ ಅಥವ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಮಲಗುವ ಮೊದಲು ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಬಾರಿ ಪಠನೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮ. ಈ ಮಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪಠನ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವಾದರೆ, ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥ ತಿಳಿದು ಪಠನೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಭಾಗ, ಇದರಿಂದ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಫಲವೂ ಅಧಿಕ. ಓಂ ತ್ರಯಂಬಕಂ ಯಜಾಮಹೇ ಸುಗಂಧಿಂ ಪುಷ್ಟಿ ವರ್ಧನಂ|ಊರ್ವಾರು ಕಮಿವ ಬಂಧನಾತ್‌ ಮೃತ್ಯೋಮೃಕ್ಷೀಯ ಮಾಮೃತಾತ್‌|| ||ಮೃತ್ಯುಂಜಯ ಮಂತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ 'ಉರ್ವಾರು' (ಸೌತೆಕಾಯಿಯ) ಸಂಭಂದ ಹೇಗೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯೋಣ.|| ಓಂ = ಪ್ರಣವ 🕉 ತ್ರಯಂಬಕಂ = ಮೂರು ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರನೇ... ಯಜಾಮಹೇ = ಪೂಜನೀಯನೇ.... ಸುಗಂಧಿಂ = ಸುಗಂಧದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ, ಪುಷ್ಟಿ ವರ್ಧನಂ = ಇಷ್ಟ ಕಾಮ್ಯ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯವು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಊರ್ವಾರು+ಕಮಿವ+ ಬಂಧನಾತ್ = (ಊರ್ವಾರುಕಮಿವ ಬಂಧನಾತ್)  =  ಹೇಗೆ ಸೌತೆಕಾಯಿಯ ತೊಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಬಳ್ಳಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆಯೋ ಆ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ.....  ಮೃತ್ಯೋಮೃಕ್ಷೀ = ಅಂತಹ ಮೃತ್ಯುವಿನಿಂದ, ಮುಕ್ತಿ ದೊರೆಯಲಿ. ಮಾಮೃತಾತ್ = ಅಮೃತತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪಡಯುವಂತಾಗಲಿ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ "ಊರ್ವಾರು ಕಮಿಕ" ಬಂಧನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಿವರಣೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಆ ಅದ್ಭುತ ವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡೋಣ. ಪರಶಿವನೇ...... ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಂಧನವು ಹೇಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದರೆ, ಸೌತೆಕಾಯಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಬಳ್ಳಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟ
