ಒಬ್ಬ ಮರಿ ಪುಡಾರಿ ರೌಡಿ ಈ ವಾರ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಮೋಸದಿಂದ ರೂಪಾಯಿ 500 ಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ. ಅದು ಭಾನುವಾರ ಸಮಯ 11 ಆಗಿತ್ತು  ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದೆ. ಆಫಿಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿ.ಪಿ.ಎಂ ಓ ರವರ ವಾಹನಕ್ಕೆ ಸವಾರನಾಗಿರುವಾತ ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿದ. ಎಲ್ಲಿರುವಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ, ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದೆ. ನಂತರೆ ಏನು ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದ. ನಂತರ ಏನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅಕ್ಕನ ಮಗಳ ಏನೋ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ. ಈ ಮೊದಲು ತನ್ನ ಮಾವನಿಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ 9 ರ ಸುಮಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ. ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರ ಬೇಕು ಎಂದ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿ ದುಡ್ಡಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ನಂತರ ಡಿ.ಪಿ.ಎಂ.ಓ ಇಲ್ಲ ಡಿ.ಎ.ಎಂ ಕೂಡ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ರೂ 500 ಇದೆ ಎಂದೆ. ಮನೆಯ ಬಳಿ ಬರುವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿ ನನ್ನ ೂಟ ಮುಗಿಯುವ ಮೊದಲೆ ಬಂದು ಪೋನಾಯಿಸಿದ. ಊಟ ಮಾಡ್ತ ಇದ್ದಿನಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಊಟದ ನಂತರ ಕೆಳಗಡೆಗೋದೆ ಅವನು ಬೈಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ. ಅವನ ಬಳಿ ರೂ 500 ರ ನೋಟುಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ದುಡ್ಡಿದೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಎಂದೆ? ಅವನು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ. ಈಗ ನೀವು ಕೊಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ಕೊರಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸರವನ್ನಾದರು ಮಾರಿ ಬಿಡ್ತಿದ್ದೆ ಎಂದ. ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ದುಡ್ಡು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಅವನ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಕೃತವಾದ ನಗು ಬಂತು. ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕೋದಿಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಯಾದಗಿರೀಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ವೇತನನ ಬೇರೆಯವರಿಗೆ
