ಒಬ್ಬ ಮರಿ ಪುಡಾರಿ ರೌಡಿ ಈ ವಾರ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಮೋಸದಿಂದ ರೂಪಾಯಿ 500 ಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ. ಅದು ಭಾನುವಾರ ಸಮಯ 11 ಆಗಿತ್ತು  ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದೆ. ಆಫಿಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿ.ಪಿ.ಎಂ ಓ ರವರ ವಾಹನಕ್ಕೆ ಸವಾರನಾಗಿರುವಾತ ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿದ. ಎಲ್ಲಿರುವಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ, ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದೆ. ನಂತರೆ ಏನು ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದ. ನಂತರ ಏನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅಕ್ಕನ ಮಗಳ ಏನೋ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ. ಈ ಮೊದಲು ತನ್ನ ಮಾವನಿಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ 9 ರ ಸುಮಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ. ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರ ಬೇಕು ಎಂದ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿ ದುಡ್ಡಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ನಂತರ ಡಿ.ಪಿ.ಎಂ.ಓ ಇಲ್ಲ ಡಿ.ಎ.ಎಂ ಕೂಡ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ರೂ 500 ಇದೆ ಎಂದೆ. ಮನೆಯ ಬಳಿ ಬರುವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿ ನನ್ನ ೂಟ ಮುಗಿಯುವ ಮೊದಲೆ ಬಂದು ಪೋನಾಯಿಸಿದ. ಊಟ ಮಾಡ್ತ ಇದ್ದಿನಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಊಟದ ನಂತರ ಕೆಳಗಡೆಗೋದೆ ಅವನು ಬೈಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ. ಅವನ ಬಳಿ ರೂ 500 ರ ನೋಟುಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ದುಡ್ಡಿದೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಎಂದೆ? ಅವನು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ. ಈಗ ನೀವು ಕೊಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ಕೊರಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸರವನ್ನಾದರು ಮಾರಿ ಬಿಡ್ತಿದ್ದೆ ಎಂದ. ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ದುಡ್ಡು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಅವನ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಕೃತವಾದ ನಗು ಬಂತು. ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕೋದಿಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಯಾದಗಿರೀಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ವೇತನನ ಬ...

“ಕಾಮ, ಕ್ರೋಧ, ಲೋಭ” ಇವು ಸ್ವಯಂ ನಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರುವ ಮೂರು ದಾರಿಗಳು, ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಕೈಗೆ ಎಂದೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬಾರದು. ಹೀಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ವಿಪತ್ತು, ಆಪತ್ತುಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವವು. ಸಿಟ್ಟು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕುವಷ್ಟು ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಮಿತ್ರು ವೈರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಧನ ಕನಕಗಳು ನಾಶವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಸುಖ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಗಳು ದೂರವಾಗಿ ದುಃಖ ಚಿಂತೆಗಳು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕಾಮ – ಕ್ರೋಧಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಗ್ರಹಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅಂದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ನಡೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದು. ಈ ಅರಿಷಡ್ ವರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸದ ಹೊರತು ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಏನನ್ನೂ ಜಯಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ…  

              ಸಮ್ಮಿಲನ ಪದವೇ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ. ಸಮ್ಮಿಲನ ಒಂದೆ ಕಡೆ ಒಂದೆ ವಿಧ ಯೋಚಿಸುವ, ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ, ಚಿಂತಿಸುವ ಜನರನ್ನು ಒಂದೆಡೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವುದು. ಸಮ್ಮಿಲನ ಒಂದು ಧನಾತ್ಮಕವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ.              ದಿನಾಂಕ 13.03.2015 ರಂದು ಯಾದಗಿರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆ.ಎಚ್.ಪಿ.ಟಿಯವರು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸಮ್ಮಿಲನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಬಾರಿಗೆ ಗಣ್ಯರ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯದ  ಸೀಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸುಯೋಗ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶಾ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಕರ್ತೆಯರು, ಕಿರಿಯ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಹಾಯಕಿಯರು, ವೈದ್ಯರು, ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಇಲಾಖೆಯವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರರು ಭಾಗ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.             ಮಾತಾನಾಡುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಹವ್ಯಾಸವಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ನಾನು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತಾನಾಡಲು ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಿದ್ದೆ. ಆದರೆ ವಾಸ್ತವದಲ್ಲಿ ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿಗಳ 5% ಮಾತ್ರ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು. ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತಾನಾಡುವವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಒಂದೊಂದಾಗಿ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಅವ್ಯಕ್ತ ಭಯ ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಕೊನೆಗೂ ಮೈಕ್ ನನ್ನೆಡೆಗೆ ಬಂತು.   " ಸಭೆಯ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದ ಗ...

ಈ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯ ತಾತ ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ತಂದೆ. ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ 3 ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ವೀರಶೈವ ಪದಕೋಶದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಶಿವಸಾಯುಜ್ಯವನ್ನೊಂದಿದರು. ಇವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬರೆಯಬೇಕು ಅನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೂನಿಕೋಡ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈ ನನ್ನ ಬ್ಲಾಗ್ ಇರುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಅದಕ್ಕು ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ತಾತ ನೆಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿ ಎಂದು. ನನ್ನ ತಾತ ಮೂಲತಃ ತರೀಕೆರೆ ತಾಲೂಕು ಕಾಟಿಗನೆರೆ ಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಮಾಳಿಗೆ ವಂಶಸ್ಥರು. ನನ್ನ ಅಜ್ಜಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಮಲಮ್ಮ ನವರು ಚಿಕ್ಕಾನವಂಗಲದ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು. ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ನಂತರ ಚಿಕ್ಕಾನವಂಗಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವಾಸ್ತಾವ್ಯ ಹೂಡಿದರು. ಬಡತನ, ದಾರಿದ್ರ್ಯಗಳು ಈ ದಂಪತಿಗಳ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಗೆಡವಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಚಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡತನವನ್ನು, ದಾರಿದ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ದಿಟ್ಟ ತನದಿಂದ, ಛಲದಿಂದ ಎದುರಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ದಂಪತಿಗೆ 5 ಜನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಮೊದಲನೆಯವರು ಮತ್ತು ಐದನೆಯವರು ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಡುವಿನ 3 ಜನ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳು. ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದರು. ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಮಗ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದರು. ಎರಡನೇಯ ಮಗ ಇಂದು ಸ್ವಂತ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಮಾಲಿಕ. ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ವಿಧಿಯನುಸಾರ ಆರ್ಹರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.  ತಾತ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣ ಎಂದರೆ ಅಚ್ಚು ಮೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾರಣ ಬಹುಶಃ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯ ಬಡ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇರಬಹುದು. ಕ

While working with I virtually brought the issue of computer mouse up to the Manager level. But, today in the Government sector myself being the manager I am not able to get one properly functioning advanced computer. Government sector is a bureaucratic one where you will be ruled by some ignorant or subject illiterate corrupt official. Corporate sector both will be at the receiving end. But in the Government sector and that is too if you are on contractual basis you will be at the receiving end. Unless, you are benefit to your salary officer. Ideas implementation is really impossible in the Government sector. In private sector where competition and grown are the mantras the head honchos don't mind in listening to last person in the hierarchy to implement the plan or modify the system if the benefits a lot. I am pissed off man. For last two days my desktop is lazy like anything. It is not working at all. It virtually lost my 2 important days in data forwarding to the state. ...
